Manza Lab

Clinical Research on Addiction and the Brain

Our work uses cutting edge technology to develop and test novel therapies for addiction and map the neural networks that underlie drug reward

About us

The Manza Lab (est. January 2025) is a part of the Kahlert Insitute for Addiction Medicine and the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.

Our mission is to develop and test novel therapies for addiction through early-stage clinical trials. We also use brain imaging to track how the brain recovers with treatment. We are dedicated to discovering not only what interventions work, but how they work - helping people now and advancing neuroscience for the future!
